About RSS Aggregators

What is RSS?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" or "Rich Site Summary." An RSS file contains headlines, summaries and links that are formatted in XML (eXtensible Markup Language) so that they may be read by a program called an RSS Aggregator (sometimes called an RSS Reader). These news aggregators can be web based, e-mail integrated, or stand alone programs.

Note:
Our RSS Feeds are distributed in XML format.
We currently use the RSS 2.0 version.

How do I get a news aggregator?

You can search for news aggregators by going to Download.com and search for "rss reader." Then download the software onto your desktop and install the RSS aggregator. Once installed, follow the software's instructions on how to add an RSS feed and copy and paste our URL listed above.

Can I use an online news aggregator?

Yes, some web sites like yahoo.com give their users the ability to add their own RSS feeds to their customized site. Please refer to their instructions on how to add our URL listed above with our RSS feeds.
