Management Team


Patricia J. Goldsmith Patricia J. Goldsmith is Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer at the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). In this role, Ms. Goldsmith is responsible for the overall operations of NCCN. She reports directly to the Executive Committee of the NCCN Board of Directors and provides oversight of the functions for the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®), JNCCN, NCCN Oncology Outcomes Database, NCCN Oncology Research Program, Finance, U.S. & Global Business Development, Marketing and Communications, Public Affairs, Professional and Patient Publications, Best Practices, Analytics, Research & Consulting, Conferences and Meeting Planning, Media Programs, Continuing Medical Education and Grants, and Information Technology. In addition, she is responsible for public policy initiatives at the Federal level and national initiatives related to payors and employers including the education related to these constituencies. Ms. Goldsmith is also responsible for the NCCN Foundation, established as the philanthropic affiliate of NCCN to embrace the NCCN mission of improving the quality and effectiveness of care provided to patients with cancer. 

Ms. Goldsmith formerly served as Vice President for Institutional Development, Public Affairs and Marketing at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute in Tampa, Florida — an NCCN Member Institution. There she oversaw the Moffitt Cancer Center's Foundation, Public Relations, Marketing, and Business Development functions in addition to Fundraising initiatives. Before joining Moffitt, she developed and directed all managed care activities for the University of South Florida College of Medicine.

A frequent speaker at national meetings and symposia, Ms. Goldsmith was chosen by U.S. Representative Bill McCollum (R-Fl.) in 2003 to join a panel of 100 thought leaders representing every stakeholder interest in health care. This unique effort focused on building consensus about what structural changes could be made in our nation's health care delivery system to assure quality health care for future generations.

Ms. Goldsmith has studied at the Pennsylvania State University, the University of Missouri Bloch School of Business and the Harvard School of Public Health. She was a winner of the 1999 Distinguished Women in Business Award sponsored by the Business Journal of Tampa Bay and also was named the 1999 Leukemia Society Woman of the Year, an award based on her philanthropic efforts on behalf of the Leukemia Society.


Lisa G. Kimbro, CPA

Lisa G. Kimbro, CPA, MBA, is Senior Vice President, Finance/Chief Financial Officer for the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). In this role, Ms. Kimbro manages NCCN's financial and business initiatives as well as provides leadership to its NCCN Best Practices Committee.

Ms. Kimbro has extensive experience in both academic and community-based health care. She served as Director of Managed Care for the University of South Florida Physicians Group, where she was actively involved in the organization's strategic planning initiatives and feasibility studies. In the community setting, she was the CFO of two dynamic and well-regarded physician groups in the Tampa Bay area. The responsibilities for those practices included (among others) business development, managed care contracting, financial reporting, patient accounting, compliance initiatives, and personnel management.

In addition to Ms. Kimbro's healthcare experience, she has worked in public accounting, most recently with Ernst & Young Global as a senior manager in Quality and Risk Management in its Paris, France office.

Ms. Kimbro completed her master's in Business Administration at the University of South Florida and her undergraduate degree at Florida State University. She is the co-author of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board Research Report, “The Needs of Users of Governmental Financial Reports.”


Joan S. McClure, MS Joan S. McClure, MS, is Senior Vice President of Clinical Information and Publications for the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). Ms. McClure is responsible for the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®), the NCCN Drugs & Biologics Compendium (NCCN Compendium®), NCCN Information Technology, and JNCCN - The Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. Ms. McClure also serves as an Associate Editor for JNCCN. The NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®) are a comprehensive set of guidelines detailing the sequential management decisions and interventions for the malignant cancers that affect 95% of all patients with cancer and for cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis and supportive care. Updated continuously, the NCCN Guidelines are recognized as the standard for clinical policy in the United States and have served as a model for guidelines programs elsewhere in the world.

Ms. McClure previously managed national oncology information programs for patients, health professionals and the public on contracts with the U. S. National Cancer Institute (NCI). She directed investigator and patient recruitment efforts in oncology for a multinational contract research organization where she also managed the technical and scientific effort to identify and develop standards for medical and toxicology data for submission to regulatory authorities in the United States, Europe, and Japan in a contract with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). She supported NCI's Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program in its 2000 revision of the Common Toxicity Criteria (CTC).


C. Lyn Fitzgerald, MJC. Lyn Fitzgerald, MJ, is Vice President, U.S. & Global Development at the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). In this role, Ms. Fitzgerald is charged with the development of U.S. and International business strategies. She serves as the key contact for Industry and oversees the NCCN Corporate Council and all permissions and licensing of NCCN content for commercial use.  Additionally, Ms. Fitzgerald provides oversight of the NCCN Communications & Marketing functions, the NCCN Academy for Excellence & Leadership in Oncology™ School of Pharmaceutical & Biotech Business, and NCCN Business Insights offerings, including:  NCCN Trends™, NCCN Oncology Insights Reports™, and NCCN Flash Updates™.

Prior to joining NCCN, Ms. Fitzgerald was a member of the Business Development team at the Nemours/Alfred I DuPont Hospital for Children, where she worked to develop and advance communication strategies for building and maintaining provider relationships. Ms. Fitzgerald was responsible for professional relations, including physician advocacy, and served as liaison to Nemours partner hospitals and to community practices, including providing educational programming and support.

From 1995 to 2001, Ms. Fitzgerald served as a Key Specialty Senior Representative at Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals. Ms. Fitzgerald is a two-time Temple University graduate, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from the Fox School of Business and a Master of Journalism from the School of Communications.  She is a published author of multiple articles on health and health care policy. 


Kristina  M. Gregory, RN, MSN, OCNKristina M. Gregory, RN, MSN, OCN, is Vice President of Clinical Information Operations at the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). In this role, Ms. Gregory is responsible for production of the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®). She also monitors and maintains tracking schedules representing the status of the NCCN Guidelines in the development process and web publication. Ms. Gregory also oversees production of NCCN Programs affiliated with the NCCN Guidelines®, including the NCCN Compendium® and NCCN Templates®.

Prior to working with NCCN, Ms. Gregory served as a Health Management Program Coordinator at Independence Blue Cross in Philadelphia, PA and was also a staff nurse at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Ms. Gregory is an active member of the National and Bucks/Montgomery Counties Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and a volunteer for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Ms. Gregory has a master's degree in Public Health Nursing from LaSalle University, and a B.S. in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. She is also a certified oncology nurse.


Kimary Kulig, PhD, MPHKimary Kulig, PhD, MPH, is Vice President, Clinical & Translational Outcomes Research at the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). In this role, Dr. Kulig is primarily responsible for the ongoing development and advancement of the NCCN Oncology Outcomes Database (NCCN Database) and other Outcomes Research programs. The NCCN Database is a set of databases on five major tumor types with comprehensive data, including clinical outcomes, on thousands of patients treated at NCCN Member Institutions.

Prior to joining NCCN, Dr. Kulig worked for several years leading oncology outcomes-based research at Pfizer, Inc., most recently as the Senior Director and Lead, Molecular Epidemiology Research, Oncology. Dr. Kulig designed and conducted biomarker-linked outcomes research projects in support of multiple clinical development programs, including those involving companion diagnostics, at the global level.

Prior to Dr. Kulig's appointment at Pfizer, Inc., she led an Epidemiology and Surveillance research program for the Arthritis Foundation, conducted public health research at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and engaged in immunology research at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons (New York, NY), the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology – Sunley Division (London, England), and the Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN).

Dr. Kulig holds a master's degree in public health with an emphasis in epidemiology from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and earned her doctorate in immunology and molecular oncology from the New York University School of Medicine.


Diane E. Paul, MS, RN

Diane E. Paul, MS, RN, is Vice President of the Oncology Research Program at the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). In this role, Ms. Paul is responsible for developing and managing NCCN's centralized, standardized infrastructure for the conduct of clinical trials among its 21 NCCN Member Institutions. The Oncology Research Program fosters collaboration among NCCN Member Institutions and pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to bring promising and effective new treatments to patients with cancer.

Prior to working with NCCN, Ms. Paul served as Executive Director of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey Oncology Group, and Director of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey Network at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Ms. Paul speaks often on such topics as cancer screenings and prevention and has published articles in clinical publications including Cancer Investigation, Cancer Practice, and Oncology Nursing Forum.

For her work with the Cancer Hope Network, Ms. Paul received an “Unsung Heroine Award” in 1988 – an honor sponsored by the Women's Network of New Jersey and presented by Senator Bill Bradley. She also received the Information Service Partnership Award from the National Cancer Institute in 1996. She is a recipient of Coping magazine's Hero Award and Mirabella's “1000 Points of Light” Award.

Ms. Paul completed her undergraduate degree in Nursing Science at the College of Saint Elizabeth in Convent Station, New Jersey, and her master's degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing at Rutgers University. She is a member of the Association of Cancer Executives, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Oncology Nursing Society.
