New Features Simplify Navigation of NCCN Virtual Reimbursement Resource Room

NCCN has launched a new, enhanced design of the NCCN Virtual Reimbursement Resource Room. In addition to updated links on the webpage, health care professionals can now search for reimbursement assistance by disease type and will be provided with link(s) or phone number(s) for reimbursement support by participating organizations. Users can continue to view reimbursement help available by participating organizations.

The NCCN Virtual Reimbursement Resource Room was developed in response to the ever-evolving oncology reimbursement landscape to help health care professionals mitigate reimbursement challenges. Reducing barriers to reimbursement will continue to be an issue for clinicians, as evidenced by the ongoing battle over efforts and legislation aimed at changing the Sustainable Growth Rate (SGR) formula. The SGR is used by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for calculating reimbursement.
