In September of 2010, the National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) launched into the world of Facebook with an interactive page aimed at sharing the most up-to-date cancer care information with patients with cancer and their caregivers. The new social media site, in conjunction with NCCN.com, encourages informed decision-making for those coping with cancer and their loved ones, and also provides links to NCCN Member Institution Facebook pages.
Within the first five months of its launch, the NCCN Facebook site has gathered more than 400 active monthly users and boasts more than 25,000 post views. Log on and join our more than 500 lifetime “likes” to receive daily posts and updates.
