Watch for the National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) advertisement in the U.S. News Best Hospital's Guidebook, which will be available on newsstands Aug. 30 – Oct. 30, 2011. The NCCN ad will appear directly opposite the 2011 U.S. News Top-Ranked Hospitals for Cancer. This print ad is a part of a successful NCCN advertising campaign that NCCN has been running in U.S. News & World Report. This year's campaign consists of both digital and print ads, which focus on raising awareness of the 21 NCCN Member Institutions, including emphasizing that as the nation's top cancer centers, the NCCN Member Institutions are at the forefront of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and supportive care, and that they lead the way in conducting ground-breaking research. Additionally, NCCN.com and NCCN.org are noted for follow-up by readers.
NCCN began running its digital ads on the US News & World Report website last month in conjunction with the launch of the online listing of the 2011 U.S. News Top-Ranked Hospitals for Cancer. The ads, which read: "If you have cancer, where you live shouldn't determine whether you live" and "NCCN Member Institutions develop the most authoritative and comprehensive cancer treatment guidelines," appear on the same page as the rankings, and enable visitors to click through to find an NCCN Member Institution. USNews.com is viewed by more than 1.7 million unique visitors each month. The NCCN digital ad campaign will run through Friday, August 19, 2011.
