The 2012 NCCN Nursing Program: Advancing Oncology Nursing™ on March 14, 2012 will provide oncology nurses with comprehensive and clinically relevant information regarding the management of patients with cancer. This program will focus on genetic testing for breast and ovarian cancer, cancer pain management, challenges of oral therapy regimens, dermatologic toxicities, nursing considerations for advanced lung cancer and advanced colorectal cancers, and the nurse's role in cancer survivorship care. Oncology nurses will leave this program with information to provide the best clinical care and patient education to further improve their patients' quality of life.
To better meet the needs of the oncology nursing community, there were important changes to the NCCN Nursing Program this year to improve the educational experience for the oncology nurse.
The NCCN Nursing Program is a great opportunity to learn from leading experts in oncology nursing, share your experiences, and network with your fellow nursing colleagues. As in previous years, participants in the NCCN Nursing Program on March 14, 2012, qualify for complimentary registration to the NCCN Annual Conference: Clinical Practice Guidelines & Quality Cancer Care™, March 15 – 18, 2012. Registration is limited, so don't delay and register today!! NCCN is also offering a limited block of discounted hotel rooms for attendees of this program. Please request your hotel room at time of registration as this offer will not be available to registrants after the block is full.
