UPDATES: NCCN Guidelines® and NCCN Compendium®
NCCN Flash Update sent January 7, 2014
NCCN has published updates to the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®) for Cancer-Related Fatigue. These NCCN Guidelines® are currently available as Version 1.2014.
- For Screening, the recommendation for “None to Mild” and “Moderate or Severe” was modified to “Education, counseling, and general strategies for management of fatigue.”(FT-3)
- For Patients Post-Treatment, under “Specific Interventions”, “Nonpharmacologic”, added “Mindfulness-based stress reduction (category 1).” (FT-6)
- The Discussion section has been updated to reflect the changes in the algorithm.
