The National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) aims to provide people with cancer and the general public with state-of-the-art cancer treatment information in easy-to-understand language. The NCCN Guidelines for Patients, translations of the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®), are meant to help patients with cancer talk to their physicians about the best treatment options for the type of cancer they have.
The NCCN Guidelines for Patients®: NSCLC and Prostate Cancer include NCCN’s most recent treatment recommendations for each stage of the cancer, as well as descriptions of medical terms, tests, and treatments in order to improve health literacy.
NCCN currently offers NCCN Guidelines for Patients for the following disease types: Breast, Colon, Esophageal, NSCLC, Ovarian, Pancreatic, and Prostate Cancers, Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia, Lung Cancer Screening, Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma, Melanoma, Multiple Myeloma, and Caring for Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA).
Printed copies of NCCN Guidelines for Patients: NSCLC are available free-of-charge. Please visit NCCN.org/patients to order.
Funding for the NCCN Guidelines for Patients is made possible through the NCCN Foundation®.
