The NCCN ORP fosters innovation and knowledge discovery that improve the lives of patients with cancer. NCCN ORP’s core services focus on assisting companies with drug/device development plans and strategies, facilitating the conduct of preclinical, translational, clinical, and implementation/outcomes research at NCCN Member Institutions, and ensuring that results of funded research are publicly disseminated. 

 

Medical Education Opportunities

In support of improving patient care, National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

NCCN plans, develops and implements all continuing medical education activities in accordance with the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support. All decisions regarding the following are made free of the control of all commercial interests: (a) identification of CME/CE needs; (b) determination of educational objectives; (c) selection and presentation of content; (d) selection of all persons and organizations that will be in a position to control the content of the CME/CE; (e) selection of educational methods; and (f) evaluation of the activity.

NCCN conducts more than 170 educational activities annually for oncology professionals. These activities are completed by over 62,500 learners each year; 99 percent of learners said that NCCN CE activities increased their knowledge on the presented topic.
