Program Overview
Treatment of hematologic malignancies is increasingly complex. Issues relating to pathology, transplantation, and various new therapies require oncologists and hematologists to stay abreast of new advances. In addition, targeted therapies and oral treatments bring new benefits to patients. This program will focus on the role of immunosuppressive therapy in the management of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS).
Educational Objectives
Following this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify the available therapeutic options for MDS
- Describe patients with MDS who may benefit from immunosuppressive therapy
Intended Audience
This educational activity is designed to meet the needs of physicians, nurses, and other clinical professionals who manage patients with cancer.
Activity Instructions
Continuing education credit will be awarded to participants who listen to the presentation and complete the evaluation.
