A presentation from the NCCN 12th Annual Conference: Clinical Practice Guidelines & Quality Cancer Care™ held in Hollywood, Florida, on March 16, 2007
Program Overview
Our nation's biomedical research enterprise is delivering a broad array of innovative and promising drugs, biologics, devices, and procedures. While these technologies bode well for improved effectiveness and quality in cancer care, the introduction of these technologies also portends significant increases in the cost of managing patients with cancer. The NCCN Roundtable: Cancer Care – Cost, Access, and Value will discuss the ability of our country to offer availability and access to new advances while absorbing the increased costs associated with them. Thought leaders from interested constituencies will provide their perspectives on this issue that is so important to those living with cancer.
