NCCN proudly recognizes Professor Yan Sun for his noteworthy and exceptional contributions as Chair of the NCCN Annual Asia Scientific Congress and for his prominent role in the development of the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology™ – China Editions. Professor Sun is a highly-valued and integral participant in the success of our mutual collaboration toward our common goals of sharing resources, increasing familiarity and understanding of the NCCN Guidelines among Asian oncologists and, accordingly, enabling NCCN information to improve the effectiveness of treatment for a broader population of patients with cancer.

Highlights from NCCN – Asia

• Read the NCCN 2nd Annual Asia Scientific Congress Report by CANCER TIMES, a detailed synopsis of sessions held in Beijing, March 28–29, 2009. Symposia were also held in Shanghai and Guangzhou as part of this conference. Symposia on Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphomas and Ovarian and Cervical Cancers were also held in March and April 2009 in China.
