NCCN Trends™ is a survey-based data and analytics tool from NCCN that assesses not only how clinicians in the United States and abroad deliver cancer care, but also a general understanding and acceptance of emerging treatments. NCCN Trends™ Surveys and Data also examine the utilization of diagnostics and other cancer treatment modalities.
Data is gathered via brief e-mail surveys to more than 200,000 clinicians who utilize the NCCN website, NCCN.org, to access information. These clinicians include physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and pharmacists in diverse practice settings, such as academic/research cancer centers, community hospitals, and private practices. NCCN Trends™ Surveys and Data are independent of any NCCN Guidelines or clinical recommendations. Participants receive a summary of survey results that offers insight into their own practice.

NCCN Trends™ Surveys and Data can reach out to targeted clinician groups, including oncology physicians, pharmacists, and nurses. NCCN can also provide detailed analyses of resulting data that can help determine trends and patterns by practice setting, practice size, specialty, or region.
All NCCN Trends™ Surveys and Data content and resulting data is owned by NCCN. Survey responses are anonymized to protect the privacy of survey respondents. NCCN may license survey content, data, and analytic results to third parties, but retains the rights to use this data for other purposes, including the support of educational and research efforts, and for other strategic or business purposes.
