One of the ways in which the NCCN Foundation strives to improve the lives of people with cancer is with cancer research funded through the NCCN Foundation Young Investigator Awards.
Each year the NCCN Foundation invites young researchers from the NCCN cancer centers to propose study ideas related to advancing and discovering new treatments for cancer. Through this initiative, the NCCN Foundation trains the next generation of clinical experts and supports high-quality research and clinical practice related to health services. These studies also affect policy, with an emphasis on use of guidelines in quality improvement, patient education, and influence on coverage.
