To test for cancer, tissue or fluid must be removed
from your body. A biopsy is a medical procedure that
removes small samples of tissue or fluid for testing.
The samples are then sent to a lab and examined
with a microscope for cancer cells. Part 3 discusses
the types of biopsies recommended for lung cancer.
