NCCN, drawing on the expertise of faculty from its 21 Member Institutions, offers oncology case management education programs to meet the needs of health plan medical directors, case managers, and other specialties in managed care organizations about the current state of the art and advances in cancer treatment, including discussion of when and why patients should be referred to a major cancer center and the role of clinical trials in cancer care. The programs also highlight the comprehensive cancer care delivered by NCCN Member Institutions. Included in the program will be information on the development and use of the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology™ and NCCN Drugs & Biologics Compendium™. Audience interaction is encouraged during all programs.
