2012 NCCN Nursing Program: Advancing Oncology Nursing

Program Overview:
The NCCN 2012 Oncology Nursing Program at the NCCN 17th Annual Conference will provide the oncology nurse with comprehensive and clinically relevant information regarding the management of patients with cancer. This program will focus on genetic testing for breast and ovarian cancer, cancer pain management, the challenges of oral therapy regimens, dermatologic toxicities, nursing considerations for advanced lung cancer and advanced colorectal cancer, and the nurse's role in cancer survivorship care. Oncology nurses will leave this program with information to provide the best clinical care and patient education to further improve their patients' quality of life.
