Lillie Shockney, Administrative Director of the Johns Hopkins Breast Center and two-time breast cancer survivor will kick-off the NCCN 19th Annual Conference by leading a discussion on the experiences of children when a parent has cancer. Ms. Shockney and panelists will address the varied struggles, observations, revelations, and learnings of children whose parents have had cancer and its effect on the family. Physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health care professionals who guide these families through this taxing and difficult circumstance will also participate in this discussion.
