The following dinner symposium is available on Friday, September 5, 2008 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM for Congress and Forum attendees. Please note that advanced registration is not available for this session and there is no charge to attend. Session Seating is limited to 200 people and is on a first-come, first-seated basis. Doors open at 6:15 PM.

Program Overview
This symposium will communicate new advances in the treatment and prevention of CLL and include presentations of data and recommendations from the NCCN panel members about changes to the guideline.
Educational Objectives
Following this program, participants should be able to:
- Discuss prognostic markers for CLL
- Identify indications for treatment and implement an appropriate treatment strategy for chronic lymphocytic leukemia
- Describe the recent advances in first-and second-line treatment of CLL
Intended Audience
This educational activity is designed to meet the needs of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other clinical professionals who manage patients with cancer.

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
NCCN designates this educational activity for a maximum of 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1

This activity is approved for 2.0 contact hours. National Comprehensive Cancer Network is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by PA State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

The Institute for Continuing Healthcare Education is accredited by the Accreditation
Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
This program is acceptable for 2.00 hours (0.200 CEUs) of continuing education credit in states that recognize ACPE-accredited providers.
All faculty for this continuing education activity are competent in the subject matter and qualified by experience, training, and/or preparation to the tasks and methods of delivery.

In order to receive a statement of credit, conference participants will need to attend the conference and complete the activity evaluation form. Partial credit will be awarded. Statements of credit will be mailed within 4 to 6 weeks of the meeting. Pharmacists should note that they must attend a minimum of one hour to be eligible for credit. There is no fee to attend this educational activity.
