Following this Congress, participants should be able to:

  • Outline the existing and emerging induction therapies for elderly patients with AML
  • Formulate an appropriate treatment plan for patients with APL, from induction through maintenance, based on the available evidence
  • Describe the clinical features of cancer stem cells and the implications of newly identified stem cell markers on the success of therapy for patients with CML
  • State the various treatment options available for the management of patients with untreated and relapsed or refractory CLL
  • Review the clinical results of investigational agents for the treatment of multiple myeloma
  • Identify optimal induction therapies for patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma
