NCCN Flash Update: NCCN Guidelines® for B-Cell Lymphomas & Colorectal Cancer Screening

 

NCCN has published updates to the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®), and NCCN Drugs & Biologics Compendium (NCCN Compendium®) for B-Cell Lymphomas. These NCCN Guidelines® are currently available as Version 6.2017.

  • Mantle Cell Lymphoma
    • Second-line Therapy (MANT-A 1 of 3)
      • “Acalabrutinib” was added as an option with a category 2A recommendation along with a corresponding footnote: “The phase 2 ACE-LY-004 study excluded patients treated with Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) or BCL-2 inhibitor and concomitant warfarin or equivalent vitamin K antagonists."
         
  • Special Considerations for the Use of Small-Molecule Inhibitors (NHODG-E)
    • Information regarding acalabrutinib was added including dosage, special considerations and co-administration with CYP3A inhibitors and inducers.

NCCN has published updates to the NCCN Guidelines for Colorectal Cancer Screening. These NCCN Guidelines are currently available as Version 2.2017.

  •  The Discussion section has been updated to reflect the changes in the algorithm. (MS-1)
