Flash Update: NCCN Guidelines® & NCCN Imaging AUC™ for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer; NCCN Templates®; and NCCN Radiation Therapy Compendium™

NCCN has published updates to the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®) and the NCCN Imaging Appropriate Use Criteria (NCCN Imaging AUC™) for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer. These NCCN Guidelines® are currently available as Version 3.2018.

  • Follow-up of incidental subsolid nodule(s) on chest CT (DIAG-3)
    • Solitary part-solid nodule; sub-categories modified
      • Persistent and solid component <6 mm
      • Persistent and solid component ≥6 mm
        • Sub-bullets added
          • If unchanged and solid component remains <6 mm, annual CT for 5 y
          • If solid component ≥6 mm, consider PET/CT or biopsy

*Previous updates to the NCCN Guidelines for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer can be found in the UPDATES section of the current version.

NCCN has published updates to the NCCN Chemotherapy Order Templates (NCCN Templates®) Appendices.

  • The following NCCN Templates® Appendix has been updated:
    • Appendix B: Carboplatin Dosing
      • This appendix has been updated with a new section for “Additional Considerations” when dosing carboplatin.
      • Formatting of the listed equations has been updated for clarity.

NCCN has updated the NCCN Radiation Therapy Compendium™ to reflect recommendations within the following NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®):

  • Hepatobiliary Cancers version 1.2018
