NCCN Foundation® Update

By Marcie R. Reeder, MPH, Executive Director, NCCN Foundation

As we culminate a successful year in 2013 and move towards 2014, the NCCN Foundation® is working to further enhance the experience of people with cancer and their families, caregivers, and physicians through patient education and cancer research.

Updated Mission Statement

On November 11, 2013, the NCCN Foundation approved a new mission statement:
Through philanthropy, the NCCN Foundation empowers people through knowledge and advances the mission of NCCN to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of cancer care, so that patients can live better lives.

Tell us what you think

The NCCN Guidelines for Patients® have been an invaluable resource for countless patients with cancer and their families; and we are asking for feedback in order to improve the library of NCCN Guidelines for Patients and make it more accessible.

If you or your colleagues have utilized any of these booklets online or in hard copy, we urge you to tell us what you think.  By visiting the following link (, or clicking on the "Tell us what you think" button on the upper right-hand corner of any of the online versions of the NCCN Guidelines for Patients, you can let us know how you have utilized these resources. Your feedback will help to guide our patient education efforts and is greatly appreciated!

Pay It Forward (How can you help?)
