Updated Patient Resources for Non-Small Cell Lung and Prostate Cancers Now Available on

The NCCN Guidelines for Patients®: Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) and NCCN Guidelines for Patients: Prostate Cancer, Version 1.2014, are now available on A summary sheet detailing the most recent updates to the patient resources is now available for the updated NCCN Guidelines for Patients.

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) aims to provide people with cancer and the general public with state-of-the-art cancer treatment information in easy-to-understand language. The NCCN Guidelines for Patients, translations of the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®), are meant to help patients with cancer talk to their physicians about the best treatment options for the type of cancer they have.

The NCCN Guidelines for Patients®: NSCLC and Prostate Cancer include NCCN’s most recent treatment recommendations for each stage of the cancer, as well as descriptions of medical terms, tests, and treatments in order to improve health literacy.

NCCN currently offers NCCN Guidelines for Patients for the following disease types: Breast, Colon, Esophageal, NSCLC, Ovarian, Pancreatic, and Prostate Cancers, Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia, Lung Cancer Screening, Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma, Melanoma, Multiple Myeloma, and Caring for Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA).
