NCCN to Host Free Webinars for Patients with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

On Thursday, July 24, and Saturday, August 16, 2014, the National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) will host the first live NCCN Patient Information Webinars titled, “Know What Your Doctors Know: Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Treatment,” featuring Gregory A. Otterson, MD, and Tracy A. Ruegg, MS, CNP, AOCN, of The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.

The NCCN Patient Information Webinars are designed to allow patients and their caregivers the opportunity to listen in on live expert discussions about non-small cell lung cancer. Based on content from the NCCN Guidelines for Patients®: Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer, these events will feature overviews of the disease, as well as discuss how patients can find information on cancer treatment options, talk about treatment options, and make informed treatment decisions about their disease.

The NCCN Patient Information Webinars will also include live question and answer sessions where patients and caregivers may comfortably speak with an expert from an NCCN Member Institution.
