2015 NCCN Nursing Program: Advancing Oncology Nursing™

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) will host its 2015 Nursing Program: Advancing Oncology Nursing™ in conjunction with the NCCN 20th Annual Conference: Advancing the Standard of Cancer Care™ on March 11, 2015 at The Diplomat in Hollywood, Florida.

This year’s program will provide oncology nurses with comprehensive and clinically relevant information to optimize patient education and care. Information is focused on current and critical issues to provide oncology nurses with practical information that can be implemented in the practice setting.

The program agenda includes the following topics: survivorship and healthy lifestyles, current approaches to fertility preservation, management of adverse events associated with immunotherapies, and optimizing nursing care during end of life. Additionally, there will be two sessions with simultaneous programs focusing on hepatobiliary cancers, chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma, chronic myelogenous leukemia, and brain tumors.
