NCCN Launches Free 3D Virtual mCRC Simulator Learning Platform

By Valesta Tejan-Kamara, MBA, Manager, CE Supporter Outreach

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) has launched its 3D Virtual Metastatic Colorectal Cancer (mCRC) Simulator Learning Platform as part of the NCCN Continuing Education Program.

Are you up for the challenge?

The Virtual mCRC CE Learning Platform is an innovative, expandable, updatable resource featuring the inherently complex continuum of care approach to mCRC, as well as new clinical data and emerging agents. Based on the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®), the simulator enables users to virtually work through the continuum of care approach in a risk-free environment with increasingly complex clinical presentations.

How does the simulation work?

Users can test their knowledge by walking through the steps of treating virtual patients and the simulation will provide immediate feedback on clinical choices and provide an opportunity to reflect and revise approaches to successfully complete the scenario.

How is your learning measured?

This free simulation tracks progress throughout the simulation scenarios on a rating level of zero to five stars. Users who successfully complete eight scenarios will earn a certificate and three CE/CME credits.
