A Letter from the Editor

Christine MacCracken, MSHeD, BSN, Senior Director, Business Insights

Dear Valued Readers,

On January 31, 2015, the National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) marked its 20th year of defining and advancing high-quality, high-value cancer care. As the saying goes, "the only constant is change," and NCCN has been no exception. Based on the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®), many derivative products have been developed with you, the oncology stakeholder, in mind, including, but not limited to the NCCN Drugs & Biologics Compendium (NCCN Compendium®), the NCCN Chemotherapy Order Templates (NCCN Templates®), and the NCCN Biomarkers Compendium®. Throughout the development of these and other resources and products,NCCN eBulletin has been one of the vehicles through which we communicate such developments.

NCCN eBulletin has also seen changes over the years, beginning in 2009, and now with more than 290,000 readers and three editions, we strive to keep you updated on NCCN initiatives and programs with specific audiences in mind. Indeed, in 2013, we developed NCCN eBulletin: Member Institution Edition to provide the NCCN Member Institutions with information specific to their informational needs. Similarly, NCCN eBulletin: International Edition was launched for our colleagues around the globe in 2010, to provide updates on NCCN global initiatives and various translated NCCN resources. It is also our pleasure to bring you NCCN eBulletin Special Editions, such as the NCCN Annual Conference coverage. Common across all editions of NCCN eBulletin is our dedication to providing you with information to support your role in furthering the NCCN mission of improving the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of cancer care so that patients can live better lives.

All of us at NCCN eBulletin know there is a cadre of information resources for you to choose from and we appreciate your readership of ours. If there is anything you would like to see more (or less!) of in future editions, please contact the NCCN eBulletin Editorial Board
