New Educational Events Launched NCCN 2015 Congress Series™: Melanoma and GU Cancers

In November, the National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) will host two NCCN 2015 Congress Series™: Melanoma and Genitourinary Cancers.

Hosted in conjunction with  Mayo Clinic Cancer Center – Jacksonville on November 7, 2015, the NCCN 2015 Congress Series™: Melanoma will address the current and emerging evidence-based scientific data for accurate and timely clinical evaluation of patients with melanoma and other related skin cancers, as well as management of early- and late-stage disease and advanced cancer.

Topics of the Congress will include:

  • Characteristics of a pathology report
  • Surgical management of localized melanoma
  • Systemic therapies for advanced melanoma
  • Recognition and management of toxicities

On November 11, 2015, Yale Cancer Center/Smilow Cancer Hospitalwill host the NCCN 2015 Congress Series™: Genitourinary (GU) Cancers. This Congress will focus on the numerous clinical challenges presented with the expansion of treatment in GU Cancers, including, but not limited to, therapies and treatments for renal cell carcinoma, metastatic prostate cancer, and advanced bladder cancer.
