Live Webinars will Feature Updates from the 2015 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium

Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in women in the United States and is second only to lung cancer as a cause of cancer death. The clinical evaluation and therapeutic options for patients with non-invasive or invasive breast cancer are complex and varied. Therefore, it is necessary for health care professionals to become educated on current and emerging scientific data to make evidence-based treatment decisions, to make shared treatment decisions with patients through effective communication, and to provide optimal care for patients with breast cancer.

The NCCN Congress Series™: Breast Cancer with Updates from the 2015 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium features a series of five live webinars to provide an in-depth analysis of the evidence and clinical decision-making that led to the development of the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®) for Breast Cancer in order to ensure that oncologists and other oncology health care professionals have a clear understanding of the following topics:

  • Breast cancer diagnosis
  • Staging and initial treatment
  • Radiation therapy in the management of locoregional disease
  • Adjuvant therapy for locoregional disease
  • Metastatic disease management
