NCCN Flash Updates™: NCCN Guidelines® Updated

NCCN has published updates to the NCCN Clinical Prac­­­tice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®) for Prostate Cancer. These NCCN Guidelines® are currently available as Version 3.2016.

  • Added a new footnote to “Progression” for clarification. The new footnote states “Imaging should include chest x-ray, bone scan, and abdominal/pelvic CT or MRI with and without contrast. Consider C-11 choline PET. See Principles of Imaging (PROS-B).” (This update applies to pages PROS-7, -8, -9, -10 and -11.)

NCCN has published updates to the NCCN Guidelines and the NCCN Drugs & Biologics Compendium (NCCN Compendium®) for Antiemesis. These NCCN Guidelines are currently available as Version 2.2016.

Erratum on AE-6 published April 15, 2016. Moderate emetic risk intravenous chemotherapy - acute and delayed emesis prevention, removed “category 1” from rolapitant. This has been corrected, the category 1 designation is noted.
