Inaugural NCCN Global Academy Features NCCN Guidelines Experts and Global Patient Advocates

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) hosted its inaugural NCCN Global Academy for Excellence & Leadership in Oncology™: School of Pharmaceutical & Biotech Business on Friday, October 6, 2017, in San Francisco, CA.

Moderated by Robert W. Carlson, MD, NCCN Chief Executive Officer, the program featured two expert panels, the first of which was titled, Regional Adaptations - Meet NCCN Guidelines® Panel and Collaborative International Experts. The panelists in this module have all worked on NCCN Regional Guideline Adaptations and were asked to elaborate on the process of adapting the NCCN Guidelines.  The panelists included:

The second module was titled Global Patient Advocacy and Policy, and focused on opportunities and best practices for collaboration across stakeholders to help patients around the world. The following panelists were featured in this module:
