Now Available! NCCN Guidelines Development Module for NCCN IEAP

Jonathan Larsen, MPP, Manager, Global Business Development

The NCCN Guidelines Development Module, meant to provide an overview of the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology ( NCCN Guidelines®), is now available for completion within the NCCN International Educational Activities Program (NCCN IEAP). In late July 2013, the National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) launched the NCCN IEAP to recognize ex-U.S. physicians who have demonstrated an understanding of the NCCN Guidelines® with the successful completion of required NCCN Guidelines educational content hours.

To be eligible for a completion certificate within the NCCN IEAP, all participants must complete the new NCCN Guidelines Development Module.

Completion certificates are available for demonstration of general knowledge of NCCN Guidelines and for demonstration of general knowledge of NCCN Guidelines for specific disease sites. Learners must successfully complete the NCCN Guidelines Development Module and a mix of available NCCN educational content in at least four disease types, with no more than three hours per disease type, to be eligible for the completion certificate for demonstration of general knowledge of NCCN Guidelines.
