Stage IA No cancer in the margins • Start survivorship plan Cancer in the margins • Another surgery (preferred) • Radiation therapy Stage IB No cancer in the margins • Start survivorship plan, or • Chemotherapy if cancer may still be in your body Cancer in the margins • Another surgery (preferred) ± chemotherapy, • Radiation therapy ± chemotherapy Adjuvant treatment after radiation treatment Pathologic stage What are the options?
