nausea and vomiting.

Part 4 helps you think about things you

can do to cope with nausea and vomiting.

You will also find where you can go for

more information.

What can you do to cope with

nausea and vomiting?

Taking good care of yourself is the most important

thing you can do at this time. This might mean getting

yourself healthier to prepare for treatment and staying

on track with your treatment plan. It is also a good

idea to talk to your treatment team. You can reach out

to the people in your life when you need help.

†

†

Let friends and loved ones do your grocery

shopping or even help you prepare a meal.

†

†

Let your team be your support and help you

find resources about nausea and vomiting.

†

†

Be honest and share how your body is feeling

with your doctor and your loved ones.

Finding ways to cope can take time. Having the

support of your treatment team, family, and friends

can help you focus on the most important person—

you.
