necessary to ensure the production of the NCCN Patient Guidelines. We believe the

guidelines are an important resource that informs patients and promotes best practices for

healthcare professionals, and aligns with our mission “to save lives by fighting tirelessly to

prevent and cure ovarian cancer and to improve the quality of life for survivors.” For support

support organization, Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance

commends NCCN for providing such an important and useful

resource to our community.

The Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO)

The Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) fully endorses

the NCCN Guidelines for Patients: Ovarian Cancer. SGO

urges individuals who suspect they have a gynecologic

cancer, or who have been so diagnosed, to seek treatment

from a gynecologic oncologist, a physician who specializes

in diagnosing and treating cancers that are located on the

reproductive organs.

Foundation for Women’s Cancer

The Foundation for Women’s Cancer is pleased to support

this comprehensive resource for patients and their families.

It is especially important for women to be aware of their

risks and symptoms for this cancer, as well as treatment

options, including care by a gynecologic oncologist

Sharsheret is proud to endorse this important resource, the

NCCN Guidelines for Patients: Ovarian Cancer. With this

critical tool in hand, women nationwide have the knowledge

they need to partner with their healthcare team to navigate

the often complicated world of ovarian cancer care and make

informed treatment decisions
