NCCN Flash Updates: NCCN Guidelines Updated for Rectal Cancer
NCCN has published updates to the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®), the NCCN Drugs & Biologics Compendium (NCCN Compendium®), the NCCN Radiation Therapy Compendium™, and the NCCN Imaging Appropriate Use Criteria (NCCN Imaging AUC™) for Rectal Cancer. These NCCN Guidelines® are currently available as Version 4.2023.

Adjuvant therapy for rectal cancer consists of regimens thatThe regimens used in patients who will undergo or have undergone surgery include both concurrent chemotherapy/RT andadjuvantchemotherapy alone. Perioperative treatment is recommended for up to a total of 3 to 6 months.
