Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Editions of NCCN Guidelines

Since 2015, the King Abdulaziz Medical City in collaboration with NCCN, established the MENA-NCCN Regional Center to enhance communication and facilitate dissemination of cancer-related information including modification of NCCN Guidelines to colleagues in the MENA region. Recently, Kanan Mamdouh Alshammari, MD, Department of Oncology, King Abdullah Specialized Children’s Hospital, Ministry of National Guard, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was appointed as the Director of the MENA-NCCN Regional Coordinating Center.

In 2022, the MENA-NCCN Regional Coordinating Center will update the full library of NCCN Guidelines: Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Editions. Moreover, the multidisciplinary and multiregional panels will develop three new adapted NCCN Guidelines for the MENA region focused on Ovarian Cancer; Genetic/Familial High-Risk Assessment for Breast, Ovarian, and Pancreatic; and Palliative Care.
