How it Works
- Use the NCCN Guidelines via the website or mobile app.
- Evaluate how you applied the guidelines in practice.
- Claim your credits and view/print/download your certificate.
Your CME/CE credits and certificates are saved in your user history. Automatic submission of CME credit to state medical boards is also available to licensed physicians.
Physicians participating in maintenance of certification (MOC) have the added benefit of earning MOC points, some of which are automatically reported to select certifying boards through JA-PARS (Joint Accreditation’s Program and Activity Reporting System). Refer to the

Confirm your NCCN Account Settings
Before getting started, ensure that you will receive the correct credit type by confirming or updating your profile.
CME/CE
Verify that your User Type matches the type of credit you want to claim:
- Physician/Surgeon/Oncologist: AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™
- Resident: AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™
- Physician Assistant: AAPA Category 1 CME credits
- Nurse Practitioner: ANCC contact hours
- Clinical Nurse Specialist: ANCC contact hours
- Nurse/Oncology Nurse: ANCC contact hours
- Case Manager (Nurse): ANCC contact hours
- All other user types: Participation credit
If you are a licensed physicians, provide the following information to have your credits automatically submitted to your state medical board:
- Name
- State of licensure
- State license number or national provider identifier (NPI)
- Date of birth in MMDD format
MOC
Automatic submission of MOC is available to board-certified specialists and subspecialists.
Select your Learner Type, enter your Learner Type ID/Board ID, and provide your Date of Birth (MMDD format) for the following certifying boards that participate in direct credit reporting:
- ABIM: American Board of Internal Medicine
- ABOHNS: American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery
- ABP: American Board of Pediatrics
- ABPATH: American Board of Pathology
- ABS: American Board of Surgery
- ABTS: American Board of Thoracic Surgery
